NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hamilton on March 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the Village Courthouse, 60 Montgomery Street, Hamilton, New York, to consider a proposed local law entitled, “A local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law section 3-c for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.” This local law is intended to authorize the Village of Hamilton to exceed the tax levy cap otherwise provided under New York State law for the Village’s 2026-2027 budget and fiscal year. A complete copy of the proposed local law is available for review at the office of the Village Clerk by calling 315-824-1111 during the Clerk’s regular business hours, M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
