The NYS Department of Transportation is planning a major reconstruction of 12B through the Village in 2025. In preparation for that work, they are studying all the intersections to determine if they should be altered to be safer and more efficient. Community input is very important and they held their first public meeting on March 28th. Over 75 community members attended the two sessions and everyone had the chance to share their ideas and concerns about the plan in small group discussions. The DOT team will incorporate the information they received in their design stage and will return to share some possible plans, probably in August.
