Collection of Taxes
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that having received the warrant for the collection of taxes for the Village of Hamilton, New York, I will receive the same for thirty days, without penalties, at the Municipal Office, 3 Broad Street, Hamilton, New York, from June 1, 2026, to July 1, 2026, Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
To taxes remaining unpaid at the expiration of thirty days, five (5) percent will be added for the first month; one (1) percent for each month thereafter through October 1, 2026. To taxes remaining unpaid after October 2, 2026, interest will be added at a rate to be established by the State Tax Commissioner.
